Nigeria Forum 2024 - Lagos Session

The Nigeria Forum provides a platform for policymakers, business leaders, and visionaries to strategize on turning challenges into opportunities. It focuses on harnessing Nigeria’s strengths, stabilizing the economy, navigating global complexities, addressing the climate crisis, and mobilizing its youth for development.
The 2024 Nigeria Forum will also tackle democracy and governance, emphasizing good governance, electoral reforms, human rights, and transparency. By fostering dialogue and sharing best practices, the forum aims to strengthen Nigeria’s democratic institutions.
Now in its second edition, the Nigeria Forum continues to be a key venue for addressing the nation's challenges and opportunities, focusing on areas like economy, democracy, security, technology, and health to support evidence-based policymaking and sustainable development.

Strategic Excellence Award Dinner & Gala
The Strategic Excellence Award and Gala is a premier event hosted by Brian Reuben Projects International (BRPI), celebrating outstanding individuals across industries. Held on November 1, 2024, at the Radisson Blu, Lagos Victoria Island, the event will honor leaders in eight categories, including authors, academics, and government officials. Alongside these, the Founder's Circle of Honor will recognize long-standing contributors to Nigeria’s growth, while the Rising Stars Award will spotlight young entrepreneurs.
Keynote speaker Otunba Bimbo Ashiru will share insights with guests, while VIP attendees enjoy exclusive networking and a private cocktail reception. Funds raised will support The Legacy Fund, empowering future leaders across Africa.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Otunba Ashiru, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB); Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria; National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria(FNIMN) and Chartered Institute of Commerce Nigeria was born in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State to the illustrious Ashiru family.
Under his stewardship, the business environment of the state developed beyond imagination with over 1, 279.84% increase in internally generated Revenue of the State. Over 300 factories/ companies established their presence in Ogun State with a cumulative investment profile of about N691.77 Billion in 2014, compared to N377 Billion in 2013. This placed Ogun State in first position in Nigeria, according to the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria. During his time, approximately 75% of Manufacturing Foreign Direct Investment into the country between 2011 – 2016 came into Ogun State.
Otunba Ashiru was a two-term Honourable Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Ogun State from 2011 to 2018
